No, my baby chose his girlfriend ON HIS OWN.
The past 2 days when I've picked him up at daycare, he's been playing with an adorable blonde named K. They've been crouched together, looking at the same toy- a Little People person with orange hair.
This baby is quite a bit younger than Q. She can't walk yet, but she can crawl like a pro, and like him, she is active and a people person. She is alert and engaged and likes to look at people and smile.
I like her a whole bunch, and I am considering inviting her to our birthday playdate this Saturday.
Because Q really likes this girl.
And I think she likes him too.

Did you invite her? I ask cause her mommy is one of my good friends (and her older daughter is in Aidan's class!). They will be at Colin's birthday party, so if she was unable to come, Q and K can play then :) -B
I am not at all surprised that Q has a girlfriend. I imagine that he is going to have many of them as he is such a charming and outgoing little boy. I have been so amazed at how much he has grown from his increased time with other kids. He already knows so much about interacting with other babies and sharing. Sasha looked positively on another planet when Quinton tried to show him some turn taking skills. He is a mover and a shaker.
